What is a MAGIC PA?
The MAGIC Production Assistants manage all film equipment reservations and check outs, along with providing facility and classroom support throughout our specialty spaces. They are the first point of contact for any film equipment needs. You can visit the PAs at their office located on the third floor of MAGIC in MSS-3045. This team is frequently working throughout the entire building, so please check the notice on the door for where the PA is currently working. MAGIC intentionally hires PAs with varying strengths and interest within production. This team is staffed with students studying everything in the production pipeline from directing and cinematography to sound design, color, and motion picture science. With a diverse skillset in house, our staff is capable of supporting student and commercial projects at any stage of production.
