VR Lab – MSS-3152
The VR Lab is the only lab space of its kind available to all campus community members participating in extended reality research. The lab consists of 9 workstations each outfitted with a variety of different VR/AR equipment. In order to gain access to this space, a faculty must reach out to Amanda Hughes at arkpph@rit.edu to discuss their project and the student team they will be working with. Students must have a faculty sponsor to gain access to the space. No classes are held in the VR Lab and all stations are first come, first serve.
Once the project is approved, students will have 24/7 swipe access to the room. Please note that all stations are first come first sever and are not reservable in advanced. Access lists are updated on a semesterly basis, which means you will need to contact Amanda Hughes each semester you will need the space.
Remember, no food or drink allowed in the labs and please to not leave doors propped open.
