Stop Motion – MSS-3150, MSS-3156, MSS-3158, MSS-3172
The Stop Motion Labs mimic those found in the SOFA Gannett area. There is one production station per room, each equipped with an iMac, Dragonframe software, a Canon Rebel camera, (2) 150w Arri lights, (1) 750w Arri light OR 1K Arri light, along with grip equipment and a convenient shooting surface.
Two Stop Motion Labs are available for long term checkout per semester, while the remaining labs are available for instruction, short term assignments, and classwork. Support from a faculty member or advisor, is required to request a long-term stay in one of the stop motion labs. Preference is given to upperclassmen and thesis/capstone projects.
Swipe access is granted to the remaining stop motion labs based on the class list provided by the faculty teaching in those spaces.
